Applications of Digital Technologies for Construction
Overview
The aim of this unit is to provide students with a broad body of knowledge and applied skills regarding BIM and other digital technologies for the construction management agenda with special focus on scope and change management, as-built verification, performance management, safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, procurement and contract administration in the building and infrastructure projects.

Unit learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of various procurement methods in a construction project.
- Evaluate and advise on the appropriateness of various procurement routes/methods.
- Employ digital technologies for scope and change management in construction project delivery.
- Apply digital technologies for in-situ and remote monitoring of construction site operations to manage quality, productivity and safety.
- Apply understanding of digital technologies for managing contracts, conflicts, disputes and claims in different procurement of construction projects.
- Apply digital technologies for sustainable construction outcomes
