    Our campuses in Hawthorn, Croydon, and Wantirna are located near various gyms and fitness facilities. Through our partnership with the Swinburne Student Association (SSA), students can now access the Splash Pass Flex. This offer provides flexible, discounted access to the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre (HALC), designed to fit your schedule and budget.

    Support for elite athletes

    Swinburne is part of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) program which allows students to apply for flexible study options to help them study and compete at the same time. 

Elite Athlete Fund

Are you an elite athlete? If you’re recognised as an elite athlete, the Swinburne Student Life Elite Athlete Fund grants up to A$1,000 to support elite athletes in their studies.

Nationals and UniSport Australia competitions 

Our students participate in Nationals and other sporting competitions run by UniSport Australia. With 42 universities taking part, competition can get lively!

Swinburne Student Life facilitates Swinburne’s entries into national intervarsity events, including:

Nationals Division 1 and Division 2

Nationals are the premier sporting competitions for university students, which is administered by UniSport Australia. Swinburne will be participating in a variety of sports across both Division 1 and 2.

Indigenous Games

The Indigenous Games is a festival of sport administered by Australian University Sport, which sees teams compete in a variety of sports throughout the week.
