About the Workshop
This workshop aims to provide clinical supervisors with the knowledge and skills in the area of digital mental health and supervision to ensure they are prepared to engage in digitally supported supervision in accordance with best evidence-based practice and current legal and ethical standards. The workshop will provide practical guidance and skills for utilizing technology in supervision by building effective supervisory relationships, creating reflective space and assessing supervisee competencies using technology-based approaches while considering issues around diversity and inclusion.
Key Presenter
Professor Maja Nedeljkovic | Department of Psychological Sciences, Swinburne University
Professor Maja Nedeljkovic is a clinical psychologist, researcher and board-approved supervisor with 15 years of experience in developing, evaluating and supervising digitally based interventions. She is currently the deputy director of Mental Health Online, a federal government-funded service delivering online therapy for a range of anxiety, depressive and other disorders and supporting the training and work of health professionals within the mental health field, where she is providing ongoing supervision to provisional and registered psychologists delivering online interventions.
Prof Nedeljkovic has published over 90 peer review papers and book chapters, was the co-editor of a special issue on Digital Mental Health in Clinical Psychologist and has received funding for the development and evaluation of digitally based mental health supports from the National Health and Medical Research Centre and Suicide Prevention Australia.
